Privacy
Fish of Ganymede is a small independent game. We keep only what the game needs to work, we never sell your data, and there are no ads or advertising trackers.
What we store
- A session cookie that keeps you signed in (and keeps a guest game in this browser). It is required for the game to work.
- Your diver name and your game: fish, eggs, currencies, trades, chat messages and other play history. Your name, fish and public deep page can be seen by other players.
- If you save your account with email: your email address and a securely scrambled (hashed) version of your password. We can’t see your password.
- If you use Google: your Google account ID and email address. We don’t get your Google password or contacts.
- Abuse protection: a one-way scrambled form of your IP address, used briefly to stop spam and repeated sign-in attempts.
Why
To run the game, keep your fish safe, let you sign in on other devices, send you a code if you forget your password, keep trading fair and chat friendly, and fix problems.
Who helps us run it
Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Resend (sending sign-in emails) and Google (only if you choose “Continue with Google”). They process data only to provide their service to us.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete your account and its data at any time by writing to hello@fishofganymede.com. Guests who never save can simply clear their browser.
Children
The game is meant for players aged 13 and over.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, we’ll say so in the game.
